Dislikes

  • The canteen is small usually dont get spot to eat and always crowded excessively the people working there dont clean table often
  • Building are old and need new paint the washroom are nightmare

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is updated currently according to NEP and thus is kind of using the up to date stuff, the books referred are old but the techniques and teaching are still being used to this day, Biotechnology as a field grows everyday and only the basics can be covered during the college hours are its a very vast field, But due to college providing access to research papers and information about all the bases required to read such papers it becomes more easier, Bio informics could overall get a update as no Computers are present in the department, Some of 100s of Microscope need to get repaired, Teaching overall is wonderful

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is availability of Scholarships for students of caste, haven't heard of any scholarship for open category, Cost of education is not high but is higher than other colleges, Still would consider is good according to the quality of education, Tution fee depends on year, 36k, all things such as breakage, Library and GYM fees are included in the overall fee, Reexam require payment soo does Industrial visits, Jobs are available but internship are given to students from second year

Campus Life :

Dimensions and one other cultural fest is a big deal which occus in December and January respectively, But other smaller events leading upto the fest as well as other events after fests are held, Books are available in huge quantity Online as well as offline, Projectors are available in classroom and are often used for teaching, Sports is important part and all sports are taken , Yearly Marathon is held, Indoor and outdoor sports are taken, Many students groups are present and Students Council is also there

Admission :

Any person having 76-77% in the state examination and has passed all the subjects (for open) is eligible, No extra exam is necessary, Application starts from June till July, Admission is made in July where full fee payment is required, Reservation is available for caste students, Exam is mediocre and is taken in following format Class Tests in October, Sem in Late November to Early December, Followed by Practical Examination and other stuff, then Class Tests again in March followed by Semister in April and Practicals, the dates may change, the Admission process is done online, the list appears online and also you get a call from the admission person staff till mid-july, Course starts from First week of August for sem 1, but generally for Second Year it starts from June - July itself

Faculty :

The staff is overall helpful and each have PhDs in their respective fields, they are kind and provide good mentorship, around 5-6 professors are there for 35 students which is a good amount and they even personally help in any situation

Specific aspects are just like they are very clear while guiding the course like bsc, bms etc. They give 1 hour to every subject ... In improving they should enhance more curricular sports which give more level to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to choose software department in the future for job security reasons for which I had choosen this degree and the college provides me with a nice coverup for every skill needed in real-world jobs or internships. They also use presentations and various teaching techniques for students to apply their knowledge. Unit tests are also taken before the exams to account the amount of revision and focus to specific topics.

Placement Experience:

The placement record is above average, however, the DG shipping of india strictly allows those cadets who do not have any backlogs in their previous semester examination to appear for placements. Students who have backlogs in their respective semester or previous semester are advised to clear the backlogs to appear for placement or recruitment drive.

A curriculum that balances foundational knowledge with advanced topics. The exam is difficult because each question is 5 marks. The teaching method is good but the exam will be difficult to ask some of question objective types.

Placement Experience:

As far as I know , this course is for research oriented students and 90% of students choose further studies over placements. Talking about placements, FC provides campus placements and companies like Lupin , Cipla and other well known pharmaceutical companies recruit from FC. Average package is around 4.5 to 5LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not too average and you will able to take the placement cell interviews after the 5th semester. The highest package is 14 lpa and the average package is 3 lakhs. 20% of the college students get a placement from the college which is not the very good number but it is the trust this college is not placements it is just form festivals and events.
