Course Curriculum Overview
The course is an intensive one and you cannot just chill around and pass with good grades. The curriculum offers a lot of options be it theory or practical courses like public policy. There are plenty exams and assignments so one is always engaged
Internships Opportunities
Our department does not offer many internship opportunities yet but there are plenty of NGOs that you can work for here also at times are opportunities to go out and work with plenty of research people.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a central university the fee hikes don't happen that frequently. It would take not more than 15 thousand for the whole tuition fee for the two year masters course. monthly mess charges are around 2.5k. The university offers a DAG scholarship to students who are financially weak.
Campus Life
The campus is very happening there's always some seminar or conference happening and since it is a closed campus one can always roam around even at nights. There's a night canteen as well.An yearly fest, Sukoon, happens every year. The campus elections are fun.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is great. You ger your hostels on the day of your counselling right then and there. The administrative staff is quite helpful and there is no problem or delay in getting rooms. The mess food is okay only.
Admission
The admission is through CUET PG exam. The course eligibility is a bachelors from any subject. The exam difficulty level in medium to high. The exam frequency is once a year. Although I think the universities should be given more autonomy in taking entrance exams
Faculty
The faculty student ratio isn't that much so the Professors pay plenty attention. After the core courses are done in the first two semesters we get plenty of optional courses in which the number of students is even lesser. The Professors are very much reachable for any sort of query
