Course Curriculum Overview
Regular classes and value education specially in arts subjects. Seminars and guest lectures clarity of concepts and completion of syllabus were main attractions. While teaching teachers provide us a meaning that is between the lines that enables us to think analyise and decide. Division of syllabus to every professor can be improved. Exams were according to university in my time 2 semesters were skipped because of covid.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee was 6k and not much; the Library charge was also just 200 for the whole course. It did not cost much; apart from the tuition fee, no other charges were taken. Scholarship was available from the government. And college may provide scholarships to extraordinary performers. Guidance and placement camps were organized, but they were not very successful for arts students.
Campus Life
A talent festival happens in August after fresh batches arrive. Students join club of their choices like extempore,debate, painting,drama, dance , poetry writing etc. college publishes it's magzine. Sports meet happens in feb-match that consists both indoor and outdoor games. Ppt classes and smart class rooms are available. Campus has wifi.
Admission
Admission was taken on the basis of shortlisting candidates on basis of their marks in 12th. Application form was available at website and costed 400 reservation is allowed as per govt schemes. Exams were according to university but teachers may take tests to check what you learnt overall exam schedule was good but covid pandemic has created some disturbance at my time. In improvement section college website should be improved.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was about 1:20 there was enough time to focus on every student. Faculty were good and take care of syllabus and provide guidance and mentorship. Interacting with teachers was easy and I used to visit them or call them whenever I met with any difficulty.
