My BTech life in UCEN JNTUK

The curriculum is moderate, not upto the mark. I felt some subjects will be better than the available. But in real life applications, the syllabus is more than enough. Sometimes I feel that the correction of JNTUK is based on handwriting and number of pages we written because I experienced it.

I have done the internships in my BTech. One is online course (Solidworks), another is internship and project in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Vizag Steel Plant and the other is Apollo tyres which was placed by college.

The campus placements are moderate but the training and placement officer works hard to make the placements maximum in core companies with the good package. In 2022 the highest package was 24LPA. The average package is 6.25LPA.

As it is a government college, the fees is less as compared to the other colleges. Per annum 10300 is the fees and for the four years it will be 41200. But government provides the scholarship and also provides hostel fees.

As I came as lateral, I was two years in old campus which has the very low infra but in final semester we moved to the new campus where the infra is good but the construction of the hostels are very slow.

You can join the course by getting a good rank in APEAPCET or if you have completed diploma you can join by getting a good rank in ECET exam. Every year government conducts both the exam. You can find the application form in APSCHE website.

In mechanical, except the Head of the Department all other staff are guest and contact faculty but the teaches well and explains the doubts clearly. The interaction with teachers is very good and we can approach them easily.

There will be online exam first after that according to the different process in different companies there will be the GD or interview. The process is very smooth and teachers encourages during the interview process
