Likes

My favorite part about the college was i got to meet new friends with who i hanged out almost after every class
My second favourite of the college is the teachers of my department. They were very supportive
The third favourite part of my college days was the canteen. The food they provided was hygienic and tasty

Dislikes

Some of the classes were not properly maintained during my college days. However now the college is under construction so i believe that the conditions of every class will imporve

Course Curriculum Overview

Taking about the circullam, i developed interest in Political Science when i was in Class 12th. And after the final exams i decided that i going with Political Science. And regarding the improvements. From my side i dont feel any improvement is required becasue the teachers are qualified and they teach very well. The fequence of Semesters is 6 Months. Every year 2 semesters are conducted

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 6758 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I passed out in 2019. The fees structure has raised in the present day. But during my tenure the annual fees was Rs 6478/ year. No, our college do not provide placements. We have to try off campus placements

Campus Life

The two main events that is organized every month is Fresers Social and Bonjar. Library facility is also very good. Almost all the books that is related with the course is available. And also journals

Admission

The Cut-off in 2016 was 50% for UR category students and 45% for other resevered categories. The College provies Bacherlors in Arts and Science and they cover almost all the subjects. The form during our time was available offline but now it is completely online. And the admission is done offline

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:40 or maybe 1:100 depeding on which class you are in. For honours subject there are 2-3 or sometimes 4 teachers while for generic subjects there are max 2 teachers There is no a such time for interaction with the teachers. At moment we can have consversation to the teachers regarding any doubts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it
