Likes
- The things that i liked about this campus is the faculties are very helpfull , so many events they organized in the campus other than big tech events.
Dislikes
- The campus is really small , there is no centralized AC is there , the whether here is really humid and hot and no good cultural fest and the student who are coming from North side will feel that they didnt belong here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses that i am studing is good but the issue is the faculty members didnt teacher the concept indepth. you have to understand the concepts using youtube or some other resources. Major as this college is situated in south , mostly all the teacher are from south only, theyy sometimes speak in tamil to explain the concepts. i have also heard from my fellow mates that in some classes where the majority are tamil speakers, the faculty members also speaks in tamil .
Internships Opportunities
As they enroll student in superset , as the company came to college , according to company require ment , if they needed student for intership they take them, other than that college didnt provide individually the interships and all. For making student for industry ready , i think they are lagging in that area they should individually improve skills of all the student so that they opt for placement.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year itself student become eligible for placements . they provide superset for college placement , through that superset student get to know about the different companies that are visting the campus for recruitment. there they mention all the details about the company , how much package gona offer by the company.One more thing i noticed , they provide the placements insight of the previous year and current year scenario from there u can take a breif about the company expectations and all.
Fees and Financial Aid
As i get admission in 2021 , my fees was 2L , this was tution fees and additionaly they also charge so many hidden fees as 35,000 for books an CDC fees. They will charge 10K around near your third year for placements training and all. after every sem , clg charge around 100-200 ruppes as brokage amt the reason they give is the damage that caused while using labs.
Campus Life
Curretly the infrastucture and all are developing , they are providing new labs for student , high end computer labs they have created.The facilites they have improved veryy much as of now. the library is small dont have engough books and all.the classroms are having projector .theey have created a new sport complex where u can play mutiple sports overall the clubs are very decent and overall the experience is good.
Admission
I got admitted using SRM JEE entrance exam. U cann get the applicationn form and all from there websites , they give the links there. Yes they have reservation for direct addmission student . The exam i good not very much difficult.The scholarship they provide based on class 12th marks and there score in JEE mains entrance and SRMJEE entrace. based on that u can get 100% -50% scholorship.
Faculty
The faculty member are somewhat good , they didnt have particular good professor who have proficiency in a subject. A Faculty member takes atleast 3-4 subjects. the student interact with the teacher very well, here on ething i notice about the college ,before exam they provide impportant ques so that the student will learn these ques and these ques directly come to the paper. You will noitce that all the student who are studing in srm is having a good CGPA.
