The college have got pretty good placement

Dislikes

Most of the staff members are not qualified enough and has a very bad attitude
There aren't any programs in the college other than annual day and onam
The lab won't be working most of the time

The course curriculum is pretty good The teaching mainly focuses on the books Other than that the college provides many seminars and workshops They also encourage us to go for internship in every year Overall it's pretty good

There is pretty good placement in the college Even tho no big companies recruit from our college there are many other companies which recruits and provide a pretty good salary package. The college also provides placement training

My current tuition fees is 85000 per year But it has been increased for the batch below me Scholarships are available for students with above 90% in plus two The fees here is less compared to other colleges

Campus Life

There isn't that much of anything to enjoy the campus life Mainly two programs are held onam and annual day Onam celebration is great But annual day isn't that great Tech fests usually don't happen here Sometimes there will be some small programs by departments Sports isn't that good here either

Hostel Facilities

When I was staying in hostel 5-6 people should stay in a really small room The facilities were very poor The bathroom was really poor and unhygienic The meal was very bad We even got worms from the food several times

I found this college through an agent Most of the malayali students come here through an agent There wasn't any donation or anything Cse,EEE,AI&DS,ECE, MECHANICAL, BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING,FOOD TECHNOLOGY,AGRI, CIVIL are the courses here

Faculty

The teaching of most of the teachers here are good The attitude of many teachers are really bad and some even target some students Some of the teachers are good tho Mostly the young teachers They are friendly and teaches pretty good

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
