Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is unique and interesting with enough relevance to the course. The curriculum includes interesting subjects that shape the problem-solving and communication skills of the students. The academics are fine but the academic calendar needs a little work. Exams and class quizzes often have difficulty levels ranging from moderate to tough.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Internships Opportunities

ITER provides better placements and internshipd oppurtunities better than any other college in the city (the sole reason i came her ). This college doesnt has much exposure , it depends on the student to grab every oppurtunity that comes along the way . I'm just a 2nd sem student so i dont have any practical idea about it .

Placement Experience

Students of 6th semester are eligible to apply for campus placements by the end of it . But students of 4th semester can opt for other internship programs if interested . Companies like Amazon, Microsoft , IBM ,TCs etc come to recruit from this college. 850 offers were made in 2023. Highest package offered was 30 lpa . Average package being 6lpa. 85% students were placed . i plan to opt for higher studies after BTECH.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is little on the expensive side but the placements are really good so its fine i guess. Complete Tuition fee is around 1100000 lakhs for 4 years and 100000 lakh for hstel per year (if opted for). ITER does offer many scholarships and study loan programs .

Campus Life

The only factor missing in this college is there are no annual fests or events . The only events happening are the inter or intra club or socities events . Only academic books are available in the library with spacious studying area and computer lab. Classrooms has smart boards, projectors and chalk boards . There is basketball court , volleyball court, badmiton court in the campus . There are many student run societies and clubs here which contributes to one's social life.

Hostel Facilities

AC and NON AC rooms with 3,4,5 bedded rooms are available . A bed , cupboard, study table and chair will be provided . Menu is okay , food quality is okay but has too much oil in it . Registration for hostel is done along with the admission process .

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Anyone with minimum of 60% in PCM subjects in 12th can apply for this college . Admissions are taken through JEE MAINS and SAAT online exam .Application forms are available on the official website of ITER . Exams are frequent . Admission process is easy . The officials will guide you through it.

Faculty

Number of students in each class is 70 (maximum). One faculty to 70 students is manageable . Faculties are highly qualified and well knowledgeable with PhD degrees. Faculties are approachable . One can reach out to them any time through phone or personally .

Review ITER

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

Placement Experience:

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

I had also applied for Chandigarh University in Mohali for a BE degreen in CSE(AI and ML). I got admission there based on their online test CUCET. But I had to choose my college over CU because upon going there i realised that the university was far from the main city and also the environment inside the college is more shifted towards fun and parties which didn't align with my personal life. I had also given IMU examination and secured an AIR 307 but because of i was underweight i couldn't make it. To get admission in ITER you need to give the SAAT examination conducted by SOA you can also get admission through JEE MAINS percentile like I got and then there is a stray vacancy round at the last in the month of august to fill the vacant leftover seats....Read More

My first impression of the college I chose

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible.
