Likes

Miet, our college has 25 acre campus and has the supported environment created by both faculty and students
The campus was beautiful and students have access to resources like labs, libraries etc which is beneficial to their academic growth
In our campus, aicte lab is also there in which students can create their ideas to reality and also one can patent their idea this facility is also there

Dislikes

I have personally disliked the college timing it was very late 9 to 5 and it really sucks
overall is good but they have to take care of some things like timings
there is no time left for the self study after that hectic college schedule and also 75% critirea

B.tech course has lots of specialization branch like electrical, mechanical, computer science etc. i personally choose computer science in the institute so that i can interact with fellow students and gain expersite from teachers and be industry ready

Placement Experience

Placements are good, average package is like 6-7 lpa . companies like axis bank, tcs, delloite, accenture, wipro are some of our top recruiters . Placement cell is present in our campus which supports the students and conducts the placements effectively

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at my college includes tution fees, services fees and other compulsary charges. The current tution fee is 120000 per year and increases were periodic and announced on the college website in fee structure. Our college also offer fee waiver seats for the elgible students

Campus Life

My overall campus experience was good, annual fests like 'kolahal' is held in mid of october and also a pretty vibrant 'dandiya night' was also organized every year which offers a platform for students to showcase their talent

Admission

The admission process is pretty fair and all based on the JEE mains percentile cutoff vary year by year . Reservation benefits were also available at the instute for the eligible students. All the information regarding admission is already mentioned on the website www.miet.ac.in .

Faculty

Faculty members are pretty good even they have extpertise in their respective fields . Although some faculty members have done their higher studies from Nit's, iiit's aslo . Each class is divided into two groups and each group is assigned with their mentor

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
