Course Curriculum Overview

I love this course because this course is a professional course and it has so many opportunities inside it. This course is future-proof because there is always requirements for lawyers in this society.

Class Size: 900Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 10th semester students are eligible for placement offers and the department helps a lot in corporate office placement in this course. Lawlighten ltd. Legalhigh ltd. are the companies where placement is offered I have a plan to practice in a high court in Gujarat. A good sgpa will help in getting a placement lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this course, you get a Rs.4,675/- mysy scholarship if you are a general caste student and if you belong to the sc/st/obc caste than you can have more scholarship. Per same fees are 26000 so the approximate yearly fees are 52,000 and also you have to pay exam fees.

Campus Life

There is always one annual event in the university campus... We celebrate all the festivals in the university like navratri and Ganesha festival... There is cricket ground in the university and also there is hockey ground..

Admission

There is no entrance exam in this course you have to apply to this college on the merit of 12th board exam marks. If you are eligible on the merit list then you will be given admission in this department of law in veer Narmad South Gujrat university.

Faculty members are good. They all have PhD Degree in law and commerce and some also have only master in their education. Some faculties are so kind hearted and help us lot and some faculties are not that good...

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer.
