My honest review about my college

I chose b.com computer applications which has two fields commerce as well as computer applications, so I can go through two ways which is still popular in the world . I mean my course teaches me both business knowledge and computer knowledge. It little bit tough to manage both the stream but once completed it's really fun to learn . But the university of Madras have to improve the chapters in computer applications they are still using old programing language ways . But otherwise everything is fine . The difficulty level is medium and timing for examination is also too short . Just 2 days leave given to prepare for computer exam .

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies name : TATA , axis Bank , HDFC Bank , canara bank , Haier, Qube Production, Little roses, etc. The highest packages as per the company and profiles offered is 35 LPA in IIT companies The average package is 4 LPA . Percentage should be above 60% My plan after getting degree is to crack the CA exam and become a Charted Accountant. So I won't involve in placement process.

Fees : 19500 it's really affordable and worth course for that price . Our college provides various scholarships such as internal as well as external scholarships. External scholarships is not given to all it is a specific scholarship which is given to particular category person such as ST SA like that . But internal scholarship is given to all those who got 70% above in their previous exams . For example 1 got 96 % in 12 th So I got 30% scholarships from my fees And in 1 semester I got 84 % in exam They provided 30% scholarships from fees . Talking about campus employment is little worst as it is small college no one is ready to recruit people even they are skillfull

Every month 2 week Monday UKTI knowledge enhancement program held in our college where staffs from various colleges come to visit and share their knowledge about the business field as well as they show right path to move our carrier. UKTI 2024 a grand festival held on Feb 8 in my college that's was so cool and dance singing everything happened there . Library need to improve in my opinion it is worst library I ever seen. The facilities in classrooms are ok but still need to improve . Sports and extracurricular activities is encouraged by our staffs that's was cool but some of the subject teachers don't allow us . That's what little irritating for us . Yes there is lot of groups and cells to encourage students I am the president of MS office cell where I teach students about excel , word , ppt , outlook etc . Overall campus life is not so great not worst either

There is no hostel in my college as it is not so far from the city It's a small college no one from other states So no hostels in my college. But we do have canteens it's really hygiene they are transperant on their work it's really inspiring They food is tasty as well as healthy

For b.com eligibility is : should have studied accounts and commerce in 12 th standard and get result as pass that all the eligibility criteria to join my college. Application can obtain either in college or in online But xerox copy of such applications is mandatory at the time of admission No reservations benefits for me No exam is conducted Admission process is free for all .. I helps the late bloomers to join in good college like this

The main reason I joined in Thiruthangal Nadar college is the faculties. They are professionals who has 10 years of experience in teaching. I like the way they teaching every Subjects which is relavent to today's era . Smart room facilities are so good it motivate us to study . It also help us to understand the concept easily. Teachers are so polite they are available at any time . If I have any doubts they just clear that doubts . But some of the teachers still lacking in computer knowledge. They struggle to teach using computers. They are experienced in teaching but not in computer skills.
