Earlier the course was more of theory based in mbbs but now as per new guidelines of NATIONAL MEDICAL COUNCIL the course has been shifted to more of competency based studies which makes it more practical and applicable in real life than just mugging it up randomly

There is cumpolsary one year internship in the end of MBBS which has to be done in attached hospital of the college The attached hospital of SMSR is Sharda Hospital which a multi speciality hospital with a good patient footfall. A new 1200 bedded cancer hospital is being made along with it which will make.it one the biggest hospitals in the DELHI-NCR region.

Tuition fees for my batch was ~Rs.1269000/ year for 4.5 years with no hike in tuition fees Additional fees is ~Rs. 89000 for 4.5 years and hostel fees is Rs. 179000 for 5.5 years (For Ac double sharing) Total fees for 5.5 years is ~Rs. 7200000 (including everything I know) There is no scholarship in my knowledge for the course that is provided In internship the stipend is provided which wary every year.

Every year an annual fest named "Chorus" is held for whole of the university where am extravagant festive vibes are spread for 3 days. Different competitions being whole through out the day with a great cultural evening like DJ, Concerts ofMany famous stars like Urvashi Rautela, Benny Dayal, Ankit Tiwari etc had been organised. Different clubs like music clubs are also there. There is an NGO named Kartavya which aims in making poor children life better in all aspects.

The hostel provided is a double sharing room with attached bathroom and washroom. It gives option for both ac and non AC. They provide you with a single-bed, a study table a chair a cupboards. Mess provides with pure veg food which is good in taste

Eligibility for getting admission in SMS&R is the same eligibility criteria you need for appearing in NEET-UG exam. The cut off marks wary every year but the city off for MBBS BATCH 2023 was around 520-530 marks. For getting admission the counselling procedure starts from DGME-UP sote where first document verification takes place and then the counselling. It is the top semi govt/ private college in UP with highest cut off and through cutting competition

The faculty of all departments are the masters in their subject. They all come from prestigious institutions of our country. A special mentor-mentee session is organised every month where a group 5-7 students are alloted a faculty member to hear and guide them for their all academic and non academic fronts. All the teachers have a very practical and an application based approach of teaching. Rather than just teaching the theory the teachers make sure that you always take back home something with you. You can always interact with any teacher in college hours for your doubts related to anything. They are easily approachable with full keen to help you
