Course Curriculum Overview
I chose international business as my course, this was because i had a keen interest also when i saw the curriculum it was all based on exports imports, FTAs FDIs. Which showed that the curriculum was very practical, they also included field and port visits which were the main part in the curriculum that gave us a clearer picture of what we are studying.
Internships Opportunities
EY, digit, Tata aig , bajaj capital, bajaj allianze, aditya birla group all of these and many other companies come to the college for internships. All marketing students got internship in the college but finance and operations students faced some issues and only 70 percent students got placed in those domains, rest took the internships themselves through offline mode.
Placement Experience
After4 the trimester students become eligible for campus placements. The offers ranged from 800000 to 2400000 rupees with it averaging around 100000 rupees. 100 percent students got placed in 2022-2024 batch. EY, Tata, blackrock,TOI,DIGIT and many other companies come. This time more than 100 companies came to the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each year the fees increases by 100000 rupees, the cost of my education is around 1700000 rupees including hostel and tuition fees. There are no additional charges, field visits and mess charges are all covered in this amount. There are many scholarships too ranging from 200000 to 400000 rupees. The stipends for the internship ranges from around 10000 to 40000 rupees
Campus Life
Every festival is an event in the college which is the best part. Each festival is celebrated dully. All the classes are equipped with smart boards, podiums. There are multiple clubs and conduits which are run by students and we have faculties as are mentors. I myself am in 2 clubs and a conduit. It is a very important aspect in college life.
Hostel Facilities
Registration for the hostel was very easy. The hostel in this college is compulsary too and it is very expensive its around 100000 per 6 months including mess charges. I think the affordability is low here. The hostel for the girls are inside the campus while for boys its very near to college. We have ac, geyser almiras everything in the rooms. Each room has a balcony or a window too. The food is also really nice.
Admission
Eligibility for the course require you to have 50 percent in graduation atleast. The application fee was around 1000 rs and you have to score atleast 75 percentile to be considered in the international business program. The exams are also at the meidocre level some subjects are tougher in every semester. There is a personal interview round after cat score which is quite smooth.
Faculty
Teachers use different modes to engage students in the class like class participation presentation, questions etc, they already are equipped with PowerPoints and notes. The faculty in bimtech are very experienced and their average industry experience is around 15 years with teaching experience of around 10+ years. All the faculty members are very approachable as well we can contact them through emails or their phone calls, they encourage us to stay in touch.
Interview Experience
Yes i faced the interview, where they asked me about myself, they also asked my about my favorite subject in graduation and what do i know about bimtech. They asked my about my past insternships. So for this round i studied my cv thoroughly, got ready with answers pre interview. It was a very smooth process with no hassle we were given slots and i gave an offline interview.
