The campus is really nice, beautiful,and is always clean. the faculty is nice, approachable.Its a good campus for people who really want to study hard and as well as for people who like to participate is extra curricular activities.
This is one of the best college in Mangalore.

Dislikes

Rules are very strict . Attendance 75 percentage is compulsory

My course was Bsc computer science and statistics The course is nice and helps in basics which will be really helpful in masters. We have computer labs for practicals ,so we can understand the concepts practically.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 30800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

BSC FEE was around 30k which is absolutely affordable for anyone. College fees is affordable and if anyone has financial issues they get concession according to that .and there are many scholarship for minorities as well as for merit . The placements are good

Campus Life

Over-all it's one of the best college. We have competition for all the talents.like dance..music..drama etc... There are many events which makes the college life memorable one!.. Every student has equal opportunities to join the competitions.and faculties support every student to join and win the competitions. We have sports day every year .and many competitions held every year. The baila is one of the best memory we all have!

Admission

Admission process is basically online. We can just fill the admission form .and then you will get a call from the office to confirm the admission and then there will be a small interview and admission is done.. It's a smooth process.

Faculty

Faculty members are highly qualified.They teach really well. And are approachable.. Teachers are really friendly and supportive. They also help us build confidence by giving each student chance to speak up.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

Remarks:

Positive : Great university experience. Placements, infrastructure, pleasant environment, full security 24×7, no ragging, no politics. Negative: little bit congested area with only 46 acres of land. Bsc faculty members average teaching.
