Entrance Preview

I did my 12th study and got distinction and i directly got the admission for the B.Sc. Biotechnology course. This is new course that time just started by Mumbai university. And vikas College had all facilities for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is new to Mumbai university and new to college also but the combined efforts of teacher and students we all got very good marks and did many extra curricular activities also.

Internships Opportunities

My college internship experience is one of my memorable experience of my life. I did my internship under one prof. The general stipend is Rs. 8000/- at that time i got.

Placement Experience

Placement is good but not that good i say. They offered a placement but you have to struggle for your self for the job. The course is new so fortunately at that time there is no new opening are there but yes now a days there are many of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't about the scholarship and loan facilities. But the have EMI scheme for the fees. You can pay the fees in the periods of intervals.

Campus Life

Campus is okay, not so good. But about lab facilities it was excellent. We have complete freedom to unitised the lab for the experiment. Sports facilities is also nice.

Alumni/Alumna

As i am a alumni member of college. The network with the seniors and junior is very strong and we always have one get together once in a year in our college.

Exam Structure

We had quarterly basis exams which helps us to prepared for our final exams. We also had practical exams which give us more exposure and more close to our subject.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

To do this course, if we do 12th from any stream, then we will be listed for it. To do this course, we have to get at least 45 marks in 12th, for this then we will have to apply. And then we will eligible for the course The application form is provided by the college itself and we have to pay 500 extra for the application form to that college. college admission starts on 20th June or lasts till 5th July, then we can take admission in between.
