Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am pursuing MBBS because it's the best option and most respected course of this time. During our postings we are opened to real world challenges of which disease we see regularly and how they are treated by seniors and professionals. Curriculum should improve to benifit students mental health. It's so stressing and hectic. There are 2 internal exams and one prelims. At last University exams

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Is I am pursuing MBBS in ACPM MEDICAL COLLEGE, of course I will have to do internship in the same college after final year for 1 year. The bad thing about intership is , we heard from our seniors that our college doesn't give stipend to students

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tuition fees is 3,60,000 . It's half because I'm am EWS candidate. Hostel fees is 1,00,000 and mess fees is 52,500. Complete cost for my MBBS will be around 23-24 lakhs. I'm taking benifits from chhatrapati shahu scholarship program.every year our college fees increase for around 1 lakh

Campus Life

2

Overall my experience is not so good. Infrastructure is fine. Our college is almost zero in sports activities. Because we don't have proper play ground, not pitch for cricket, no gym no indoor sports equipments etc. We don't have wifi in college or hostel instead of this high fees of hostel which is 1 lakh per person and 3 students in one small room

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel facilities is the worst part of my college life. The fees is high (100000rs) yet there is no facility that justify this high fees. We were living 2 persons per room in 1st year but in 2nd year they put 3 persons per room and metal bed. Dhule is hot City, temperature is above 42. In this hot weather also we can't have coolers in our rooms , just fans. Because they charge 1500rs per month for cooler and we have to buy cooler from our own money as well. We feel like only rich people can live a good life in summer , only they are deserving of having coolers in their room. The temperature is so high that we can't even use our mobiles. They heat like crazy and we are not even able to sleep in those hot rooms . Mess is equally bad. Food is tasteless and quality is below average. Sometimes it's so bad that we prefer to stay hungry or eat outside instead of eating that. No matter how much we complain, nothing really happenes.

Admission

I gave NEET in 2022 and got 500 marks. The acpm medical College came in 4th round of Counseling and got selected in the same round. I got selection letter and went to college for admission. Admission process was so long as we have to fill many forms. I got EWS benifits of half tuition fees. I think college should give more days for admission process , we got only 2-3 days . I had to be so careful that all my documents are okay before taking admission.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is okay. Faculty to student ratio is normal. They interact with us and solve our doubts whenever we ask. Faculty take regular lectures and practicals . They teaching methods are fine. They take exams and guide us for improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very secure option to get a job later You get to open your own hospital later on. The curriculum is very practically oriented. you get hands on experience on patients and cadavers. Appropriate skills are taught as well through college programmes. Teaching is by presentation mode which gets quite boring for long hours but it's bearable when combined with afternoon practicals. Exams take place every 6months 2 term exams, 1 prelims , 1 University level exam
