Likes

Some things like ac in every class its heaven in summers
And I'm not talking about every faculty but some are great

Dislikes

Parking is the biggest issue u will face in the college if ur late for class then u will get more late
Faculty's are not that great it's rediculus in my scene
So much restrictions are there in the college placements are also not great

The curriculum is ok not that great u will get the curriculum College just teaches u basics then u have to learn by ur own They should improve every area in the curriculum Exams are very frequently done puts lots of pressure even if this is the practical course I had to take written exam

There have been no hikes in fees in my case till now The complete cost will be 3.5 lakhs for the whole course We only get 1 scholarship in 3 years and for only single people too which should improve There was no employment and stipends and all

Campus Life

This is the first college I have seen there's only one fest in the whole year is freshers and farewell celebrated The library is good but its small and also available online for students Smart board is there in every classroom with the internet access 0 sports is there No clubs

Admission

The average student with 50% is eligible for my course. Everything u can find on their websites dypiu No reservation benefits its pvt college The exams are Very frequently done and regularly The area to improve is communication between students

Faculty

Faculty-to-student learning is ok with some teachers only but not with all Mentorship in my opinion in my course I had great mentorship with only 3-4 faculty's only Yes they are approachable every time for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course. It helped me in my personality building and also I learned new things like- Video and photo editing, handling cameras, communication skills, Acting, Advertisement writing and shooting, and many more. Class strength is good as they allow 25-30 students for one course. Faculties were too supportive and masters of their own fields. They take 2 internals and 1 final exam at the end of the semester which is of 6 months.

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.

DY Patil International University: myth vs reality

There were several reasons to choose this college ahead of other colleges I was selected one of them was the distance it was close to the place I live which makes it possible for me to travel around everyday and another reason is the fees structure which offers the computer science degree the cheapest in the place. I also got admission in MIT university but I refused it because of the fees structure and travelling I had to do daily. I applied for IIM Rohtak by giving integrated program of management after 12th but could excel it due to low marks in quantitative ability .
