- The academics are very strict and good.The main focus of college is academics.
- Teachers provides you with everything(every little thing) from notes to pdf to ppt.
- There is also a blend of co-curriculars and sports along with studies.The college encourages and also held many competitions,hacksthons and many such events.Every society also organises their own events
Dislikes
- The washrooms of the college are average and sometimes are not in good condition.
- ID card is compulsary and the canteeen is also very good but subtle food which is quite okay in taste
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and really helps to understand what subject are we studying. It really helps us to know where to apply in our real life with each subject containing its goals and outputs. Sessional Tests 1,2 are held basically with ST-3 for students who want to improve their performance. Also before the end semester exams PUT and then REPUT are also held in order to practice the art of writing examinations.
Internships Opportunities
Generally, college doesn't help you in getting an internship but they do focus on your linkedin profile as it helps to grab opportunities. All the students who are doing internships have found internships off campus.
Placement Experience
We are eligible for campus placement for 6 semesters after which we are totally involved in placements and projects. Many companies are coming to this college like hcl, amazon, wipro, tcs, etc and they sometimes get bulk. The highest package this year was 33 lakh and the average is 6-7 lakhs. There is a percentage of 60-70% on-campus placements. I want to join civil services so I will not be looking at campus placements but they are quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees in 135000. If a person gives the AKTU exam after the 12th and clears it then he may be only giving 7350/- annually. Along with this, scholarships are available for SC, ST, and OBC categories and they give a reimbursement of 50-60k.
Campus Life
A fresher's party, and farewell party along with the annual fest(Tatva) is held every year. Along with these, there are many societies which conduct their own events. Though the months for all these aren't fixed. The college has on average 2-3 events every month (society events). The library is very good and large.
Admission
The admission is based on either direct admission or JEE rank. There is a need to score a good percentage in your JEE to get a CSE course but direct is also available which is very easy. It includes counseling. You need to have PCM in class 12. The application is available in the month of July-August and most probably from September, the curriculum starts.
Faculty
All the teachers are highly qualified and very professional. Till my second year, I haven't seen any teacher who is below average. They are very hardworking and provide all the curriculum. They also include ppts and many more things.
Interview Experience
No there is no such thing as an admission process. Direct admissions whereas admission based on your JEE exam is considered. There is a counseling session held but there are no such GD or PI rounds.In the counseling, they ask for your interest and evaluate the reason for you choosing a particular stream. They also guide you to know about the future demands
