Review about Saveetha College, Chennai

Course curriculum is credit based, we have to complete certain credits for entire four years of education. There is no restriction for studying subjects in particular semester. We can take our desired subjects in any semester, but for few courses only there will be some pre-requisites to be completed.

College won't provide internship opportunities, we have to search on our own. It will be a difficult task for every one to find an internship among that huge competition with the college students and outside students.

Placements are average here we have to sit along with anna affilated college students for placements. It's like a common drive for both college students. We have to be little more skilled to have a chance of getting a job among the competition.

For four years tution fee is 1,27,000 per year and hostel fee is 60,000. There will be seperate fees for external lab exams for the subjects we took. There won't be any scholarships and campus employment we can opt for.

I felt satisfied for the fee I paid to complete the graduation with satisfied campus life and average club involvement. Library consists of only regional authors books, sports activities are very less.

Hostel is too crowded and messy, rooms are very compact and bathrooms are not cleaned properly. Meals are average and very limited options to pick. Mess is maintained by third party people so you can imagine how it will be.

It's a direct admission process either we can approach the college management or we can see the details in the college site or there will be third part admission mediators who work with management for only admissions.

Each class will have strength from 30 to 40 due to subject registration. Faculties have master's degree from IIT Madras, few have done Phd's. Faculties are always available to approach. Each department will have mixed expertised people from assistant to senior faculties with different domain expertise. The doubt clarification will be like collaborative learning.
