NSB Review

College management is as helpful as any of our faculty. they try to bring the best out of us by providing us with full support and power to do tasks independently and think out of the box.

Course curriculum and evaluations are in accordance with the IIM-A norms. The case method adopted here gives us an overall view of a situation in more than one way. Open-ended cases are perfect for growing minds like us. The evaluations are continuous and are research driven.

The placement process is being assisted by IIM-Ahmedabad. The placement cell of our college is dedicated to bringing several companies in the energy sector as well as other sectors. The internships will begin soon as we complete our this trimester.

We have had several events since the starting of this course. We have had Guest lectures by eminent personalities in the energy sector. In December, we had blood donations camps in which people, even from outside the campus participated and made it a success.

The fees of my batch were 16,00,000 rupees which include boarding and lodging. The structure of the fees is very simple and tries to deliver services we have paid for. Other expenses are not there as such. we practically have everything on our campuses. for our personal grocery, we can visit nearby in sector 18 Noida. These may be around 2000 per month.

No, I have not availed any educational loan. Although there are many banks which have tie-ups with our college which provide the educational loan at very attractive rates.

Campus life is very peaceful. We live in Film City Noida. Inside the campus, we have all amenities including sports. The facilities also at the campus are up-to-date. The infrastructure at NSB is simply superb. Gender ratio currently is not that good but we are expecting it to be balanced in the near future( next batch )

Hostel fees are included in my total fees. The hostel is compulsory and is also very helpful because of getting to study in groups with the least distractions. The services at the hostel are very good. The cleaning is done by the executives here at the hostel on a daily basis. The room is twin sharing here at Tagore hostel.

The alumni of our college are in very powerful positions. We stay in touch with our alumni to know about the depth of the energy sector and the recent developments in the sector.

We were fortunate enough to get admission in mid-September because of the course starting a bit late as compared to other B-schools. The admission process was very smooth and direct. The panel in my interview tried to grill me but I managed to present my opinion and was able to secure a seat in this B-school.

Both, In-house faculties and faculties from IIM Ahmedabad are very thorough in their approach. They have our full attention and in return, we are subjected to very interesting situations that are relevant to our course. Even the assignments and projects are very much relevant in accordance with our courses and overall learning.
