Course Curriculum Overview
There is dual specialization available at the institute. MBA course consists of four semesters. After first year end, one needs to opt for two specializations. The course is fairly designed as per industry standards. It is often revised based on the advancement in the business environment. One may opt for a winter internship while summer internship is a compulsory part of the course.
Placement Experience
The placements have been good for MBA here. With big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, reliance, Bajaj, Aditya Birla, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Capgemini etc coming. Almost everyone gets placed those who opt for placement. A few of them come off summer internship as well.
College Events
For the holistic development of the students, the college organizes many events such as freshers party, IMED gems, expressions, IIPS, c googly, sports meet, an international seminar for marketing, hr, finance, IT, guest lectures, alumni meet and many other events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are very nominal against the facilities that are being provided by the university to the students. The first year fees for MBA during the batch (2017-19) is Rs192300 and same is for the second year as well. The exam fees for every semester comes around 4-5k.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are education loan and scholarship available. The university itself has its own bank, Bharati sahakari bank Ltd. Also, they shall help you with the relevant documents required for the loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. Apart from academics, one may be involved in various committees and cells such as placement cell, digital marketing cell, NSS committees, sports committee, entrepreneurship development cell and also represent the college at various forum and competition.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is average. Small rooms but cleanliness, electricity, water, WiFi etc is good. The food is also decent and bearable. I advise staying at the hostel for the first year as it shall help you to make friends with your batch mates. The fees are around Rs96k for a year. The second year you may choose to take flats or pg outside the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
The college as maintained an alumni network with alumni from past 40 years batch being the members of it. They conduct the alumni meet twice a year and it helps the students to gain knowledge from their experience.
Admission
BMAT: A pen & paper exam is conducted. 150 min, 200 questions. Questions are quite easy and no negative marking. Then GD and PI are conducted which is of 50 marks. The score is calculated out of 250 marks. Based on the BMAT rank, students are called for counseling on certain dates.
Faculty
The faculty and the supporting staff is very good. Most of them are Ph.D. and are having good experience from industry. They are polite and approachable. Also, they treat you like a friend or a mentor and always there for the students help. They complete the syllabus on time.
