Course Curriculum Overview
I have choosen the Electronic and Computer branch as my profession because it gives me flexibility in both electronics as well as computers. I have selected this college because it is one of the most reputed institutes in our locality. There are exams conducted every month, and the level of the exam is moderate level. The course can be improved by giving more preference to project-based learning.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The total tution fees for this college are 151805 rs. The fees decrease depending on the caste. For OBC the fees are 85000. For other backward sections like SC, NT, ST, and VJNT the fess is 21000. The total fees for complete education go upto 800000. There are many private scholarships given to the students. The scholarship is most often given to students who have more marks. The stipend is given to students who have an interest in the project.
Campus Life
The main fest in the college is celebrated in the months of January and February. In the month of January, the annual sports meet takes place and in the month of February, the annual gathering takes place. The annual gathering is of 3 days where the first day is traditional day, the second day is formal and the third day is department day. There are many clubs in this college, like ECESA, MESA, and ITERA, and there are some unique clubs for every department.
Admission
To get admission to this college the candidate must have appeared for MHT-CET and JEE mains ( State Entrance Exam). They should have secured good marks. The seats are given according to the marks scored in the exams. Students can also get admission in the second year by securing good marks. The exams are conducted in every two units and it is of moderate level. The cut-off for IT, CS, and ECE is high as compared to civil and mechanical.
Faculty
There are faculties in our college, each faculty carries a PhD degree in their field. The students are to teacher ratio is 1:30. A mentor is provided to every 30 students in each department. Mentor solves all the problems of students. There is a special slot for interactions of students with teachers. A mentor meeting is conducted every week.
