The curriculum for BE in computer engineering was both relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential topics in computer engineering and science. I found curriculum to be well designed and effective.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of college differs course wise. As I have pursued computer Engineering and my admission is through TFWS schema fees are 9787 per year. So it is very helpful for me to get such well education. College also provides various other scholarships like MAHADBT, LilaPunawala foundation scholarships, etc.

Campus Life

College campus is very nice. College has various clubs like robotics club, linux club, coding club, art club and many others. In this club various activities are conducted and also various competitions are conducted. So it's very useful.

Admission

Yes, admission process was conducted good and smoothly. Admission conducted through CET examination. At time of admission college has provided its all details and overview of college facilities. Staff guided me very nicely.

Faculty

The faculty at PDEA COEM is exceptional. Their dedication to providing quality teaching is evident in every lesson. Theirdepth of knowledge and and ability to effectively communicate complex concepts makes learning more engaging and rewarding.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

I choose PDEA Manjari Pune or other college. I applied to several reasons. Firstly, its location was a significant factor. Being in Kannad Maharshtra State is relatively convenient for me, compare to college in larger city.
