Course Curriculum Overview
Course in first sem is pretty irrelevant except few physics and c language course. They'll teach you drawing, physical education, ethics in the first yr which is irrelevant if for engineering college perspective. Courses like python, basics of electrical engineering should be there in first year
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook (Meta), Nvidia, Samsung, Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Dell, IBM, Adobe, Uber, Flipkart, Ola,Goldman Sachs,JP Morgan are the top recruiters for internship There are more than 100 projects in college offer to student. Most of the projects will be on campus and only few of them will be remote.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students will be eligible for campus placement Many top companies visited this year and more than 1200 offers made this year till now. FAANG visited this college Highest is 4Cr and Average is around 24LPA Around 60% of the student placed this year which is way lesser than 100% of last year My plans after degree is doing masters
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees was 80000 in 2016 and then after the meeting of IIT the fees revised to 200000 which is around 200%. There is no policy of fees increment. There is one scholarship named MCM where top 25% of college will receive 12000 per year along with tution fee waiver. I don't have any idea for 3rd question
Campus Life
Techkriti, Antaragni, Udghosh are the major fests happen in our college We have one of the India largest library so there are a lot of book here All the equipment available in labs are in working condition. The facilities are good here Yes annual sports fest udghosh and inter pool sports Udghosh
Hostel Facilities
Very small room provided with 2 beds, one fan and one tube light,one table, one chair and one notice board with one almirah and nothing else. Mess quality is pretty average and menu is pretty much balance You just have to submit form to hall at the time of reporting.
Admission
To eligible for getting admission in this college you've to Clear the JEE mains and have to secure a good rank in JEE Advanced. The reservation benifit is the same made by goverment. Moreover there is 20% supernumerary seats too for girls.
Faculty
Too much impact but there is tutorial class to learn or clest your doubt with the tutor assistant. We rarely interact with teachers as teacher mostly after class leave the lecture hall and they don't like we disturb them during class
