AC classrooms are required to overcome the heat in summers, which are not provided
Food other than mess is quite costly according to me

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is relevant enough. They conduct 3 exams every semester i.e. CAT-1, CAT-2 and FAT and a seperate lab FAT for labs. They have FFCS, which enables you to chose your teachers and courses after 1st sem.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 405000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship start from the college end from the 3rd year 1st sem as the placement procedure starts from only then. You can do internships in the summer breaks without the college and you also get credits for it.

Placement Experience

The placements are as much as an 2nd tier college. Last year the highest package was 32 lpa and average package was around 6 lpa. Almost all the major companies come for recruitment. The placement procedure and training starts from the 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have different categories for fees through VITEEE. The complete cost of education for a student through catergory-1 would be around 16 lakhs and around 24 lakhs for a category-4 student if he opts for a hostel.

Campus Life

The library is well equipped and has a good infrastructure. Only very few classrooms have AC, which is a problem considering the heat in Vijayawada. You can join clubs from the 1st year, but you are also awarded credits for it in the 2nd year. They have a fest called VITOPIA and a tech fest called VTAPP every year. The sport facilities are good.

Hostel Facilities

You are randomly alloted a hostel in the 1st year, after you pay your fees. From 2nd year, you have to undergo hostel counselling based on your CGPA. The mess menu is set every month and all the messes follow it. The rooms are well equipped and cleaned daily.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

I Wrote the VITEEE exam and got admission. Admission process is fine, not lengthy. They provide admission through EAMCET also. Minimum eligibility criteria is 60%. Fees varies on the category you get based on your VITEEE rank.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
