Fee structure. Fee is very affordable.

Dislikes

Food : you can get only 2 times food in hostel.
Campus life: campus life is very poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. But , the faculty is not good. The benefits is you can prepare for another exam if you want. You get lots of free time to do prepare for whatever you want. If you want to prepare for gate then you can get lots of free time.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 42000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are SC , ST and OBC then you can get admission very easily. The fees structure is very favorable. The fees for odd semester is 22,000 and even semester is 20,000. University give 50% scholarship to the financial poor student. If they qualified for the 50 percent concession.

Campus Life

Campus life is very bad . If you have bike or scooty then you can enjoy Little bit. If you don't have bike or scooty then you feel you stuck here. Campus life is very poor. You must buy bike or scooty then you will enjoy.

Admission

You can take admission through JEE Mains and MZUEEE. MZUEEE is a university Entrance Exam. Admission process is very smooth and easy. The University doesn't provide any internship or any placement. I would suggest you to another college. If you don't have any option or your financial condition is very bad then you can prefer this University. Otherwise, my recommendation is go to another college.

LIFE AT NIT MIZORAM

Likes

Faculty are high qualified and help to gain more practical knowledge. They are very friendly so doubts clearly become more easy.
Good quality equipments in laboratory and good library with wide variety of books.
Helps to face real life challenge in world, by which I can able to push my personal and professional development

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is not so good, our college don't have a permenent campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement are good in our college, last year it like 90 percent plus students are placement and avg package is also good it is like around 900000.students from 7 semester are can able to participate in campus placements. The some like juspay, L&T, adani wilnar and many more recruiting our students. Current year highest package is 21LPA. Even I want get a job with high package before completing of my btech.

Likes

Think I like that the teacher are very good in each branches
The teacher teaches those topics which will coming in the exam and the question paper will be made by those teachers only
There is no ragging in the hostel it ragging free campus

Placement Experience:

Mainly there is placement for civil engineering highest 17 LPA and average 8 LPA and computer engineering 16 LPA and average 10 LPA But there is still no placement for Electronics , Electrical and Information technology branches My plan is after the degree is to give GATE exam and doing Mtech after btech

Likes

The teachers are very good. He teaches us very well.
Labs are well settled. All the equipment works properly.
There is facility of smart board in all classes

Dislikes

there is no permanent campus here. All the buildings are built very far away.
Actually the weather here is good but it rains too much here which causes problems.
There is a little problem in eating, especially for vegetarian people there are many options

Placement Experience:

In our college, internships and placements start from the third year and many companies come to take on-campus placements.Many companies like Infosys, Tata, Microsoft, Google and many other companies come to our college.If we look at the Civil branch, the average placement is 15 lakh and almost 90% of the people get placement on campus.

Seniors they are very supportive and facultys are also supportive
As there are less students faculty interaction is so good
College environment I liked it because seniors and juniors are so cooperative

Dislikes

Infrastructure as there are no permanent campus we have to face some difficulties
Interaction with local people as they speak there native language
There is no college canteen only mess is available

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good yeah highest packages are above 30 lakh but average salary is not that good because many companies don't visit to our college because of it's location but still as students are enthusiast they grab great placements off campus

Likes

Aizwal city is most peaceful city and clean
In examination east to score marks and all
Very less students in classroom then chance to get placement is more

Dislikes

Worst campus life and no any campus in nit mizoram
U need to travel 7km by bus of nit mizoram for taking class
Local are very aggressive about college students

Placement Experience:

Highest package of 2024 year is around 27 lakh from PayPal and average package around 10 lac and 87 percent placement in 2023. Most of the students get placed in this college. I will go for mtech crack gate

Overall good to consider college for low rank in jee main.

Likes

It's geographical location is very good .
Since there is less strength so you can interact with faculties very easily
Faculties are supportive and have good methods of teaching

Dislikes

Connectivity is the main problem, the nearest train station is silchar which is around 166 km away from here.
There is not permanent campus so it becomes very time consuming while roaming from one block to other.
There can be language barrier while interacting with locals and the city is too costly to live here.

Placement Experience:

Students from their pre-final year are eligible to sit for placement interviews. Companies like Adobe, Tech Mahindra, Larsen and Toubro, Wipro, Tcs,etc. visited previous year. The highest placement was 14.5 lpa with average being 9.8 lpa. Total 75 companies visited and 86.7 percent students were placed.

Likes

There is no campus here,so we can roam around everywhere with friends
Faculty is very good and electrical faculty is very strict and good

Dislikes

There is no campus so we leave far from college, so we should take bus before half an hour provided by college
It is hilly areas you have to walk along because we don't have campus we should walk up to the hills for classes

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester or in 8th semester we get the placements and in national institute core jobs are good then that of cse. Ee and ece or mech placement or nearly 90 percentage in this academic year. Average package is 9-10 lakh. highest package is 24 lakhs

Likes

The weather is very good no to much heat in summer and not to much cold in winter
Behavior of seniors is very good, totally ragging free campus.

Dislikes

Mizoram is a very costly place so bring all important things from home
The measure isue in university is transportation
Vegetarian people suffer with a lot of problems here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this university because there was 0no another option for me since my rank was very law. University have all subjects faculty of first year and about another years I also don't know. Most of the faculty members are cool. The exam paper is very easy but many students have back due to not doing serious studies

Review of my College

Admission:

B.Tech is a global course perplexed by many students globally anyhow getting into this very University requires 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% with Physics, Maths, chemistry (PMC) following the Entrance exam by the college. MZUEEE is the online exam conducted by the university to check the aptitude of a student.

A journey worth sharing

Placement Experience:

Placement is worse here nearly 1-2% students get placed each year . Wipro visits NIT nagaland every year and our college students have to visit there for placement. nearly 4 lakhs is the average per annum package.

A Life you can never predict of

The course I opt for is Btech, for which I gave the Jee Mains Entrance Exam. The application form for the JEE exam can be found at the NTA official website. From the NTA website I first registered for JEE Mains. The JEE Mains is held twice every year, general in January and April.The date of the examination is sent to you through your email id with your admit card. There is a reservation system also, for SC(Scheduled caste) 15%of seats are reserved, for ST(scheduled Tribe) 7.5% of seats are reserved, for OBC(Other backward caste) 27% of seats are reserved and for EWS(economic backward caste)10% of seats are reserved. The difficulty level of the exam is very unpredictable, it can be sometimes very tough and sometimes quite easy, so you can say it depends on your luck. If you get qualified for the exam, the counseling process takes place in like 4-5 rounds, in those rounds you have to select the college or university and the department you want to get in. I got admission here through JEE Mains (Josaa Counseling) in 2022 so everything was fine and easy regarding the payment of admission fees or course fees. You can also get admission here in this University through MZUEE which is an entrance exam for MZU.
