Entrance Preview
I gave rajasthan state level exam named RPET. I got overall rank of 250 across the state. This is the number one college in the RPET exam hence i opt for this college.
Internships Opportunities
We had final year internship for 4 months. In that we were given a topic amd we needed to build a project on that and a presentation for the same. We took the internship at a small software company in jodhpur. They offered around 1500 rupees at that time. Money didn't matter that time because we were learning the corporate culture and learning how to build industry level softwares.
Placement Experience
For 2007 batch i think it was a 95% campus placement. 5% were those who didn't attended the interviews because they had something else in their mind. The list of companies (only which i remember 8 years later) Impetus Infotech 2.8 Lac Per Annum, IBM 3 Lac Per Annum, INFOSYS 2.5 Lac Per Annum, TCS. 2.5 Lac Per Annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure for general boy students was 18000 rupees per year. For general girls it was 15000. For SC,ST boys it was 9000 and SC, ST girls it was 5000 per year. So overall the fee structure was feasible for any family. For poor students there was a scholarship also in which they got around 50% waiver in the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were scholarships but only for poor and or sc st students. Since i was a general student hence i never availed the scholarship. As per my knowledge there was no loan available by the time i was studying there.
Alumni/Alumna
We didn't had interactions with the alumni but there is a very good culture that every senior student was always open to help the junior students no matter what kind of help is seeked from the junior. Seniors are always ready to help by passing notes, books and other study materials which they themselves had found good during their time. Some of the seniors teach the juniors too after college hours.
Exam Structure
We didn't have internal exams but we only had semester examinations. After the completion of theory exams we had sessionals where we had lab exams. Since we have only 2 exams per year hence we had a lot of time to take lart in other activities.
