My overall experience with MIT was great, I will never forget my life span which I spent there.

There were 2 reasons why I opted this college. First was that the labs and faculty of Mechanical Engineering in this College are good(information from passout students). Second reason was that this College was in my hometown so I preferred this College.

No they don't provide any internship but they provide the letter of recommendation which is required by all the companies to apply for internship.

There were sports competitions in every quarter like volleyball, cricket, chess, table tennis etc. There were many extra curricular competitions also like singing, dancing, quiz, drawing, arts etc. Also there is one annual day celebration on which there were many performances and a grand party but the food was chargeable.

My annual fees was around 1 lac including all the academic fees and examination fees which I thought is feasible for any Engineering course from a good college. There was loan facility also for those who can't afford. Also there is scholarship for the students who comes in BPL.

Campus was good, neat and clean. Talikng about gender ratio Mechanical branch has 180 students and among them only 3 were girls. Overall the gender ratio was 30-35% girls. Labs are really good, all are having relevant and working equipments and tools. College also organise inter-branch sports competitions on quarterly basis. There were also many extra curricular activities organised by all branches of Engineering.

Similar with all other colleges' hostel facilities, food was average but hygienic. Cleanliness was also average but overall a livable place. Girls hostel are very safe and they were not allowed to go out after 8pm. Also on vacations they have to take permission from there parents before leaving the hostel.

Yes they were helpful. Also our College faculty has created a group of all alumni and keep sending mails regarding every relevant activity and information.

There were 3 internal exams and 1 external exam of each subject in each semester. In 3 internal exams 2 were 15 marks test and among these 2 the best will be considered for main marking. Then there was 100 marks internal exam whose marks were calculated on basis of 15 marks. 10 marks are for project and 10 marks are of attendance. So total 50 internal marks. And then there is one 100 marks external exam. So total 150 marks for 1 subject in one semester.

I gave the UPSEE exam and I scored 242 marks with around 31000 rank and through counseling I chose this college and got the admission easily. There was another option also to take admission in this College i.e. Management Reservation. In this you can directly contact College to take admission.

The faculty was good and experienced. They were very helpful and friendly. You can ask your query any time in your free period. Also they provide very useful notes and test papers for exam preparation and self development. There were 1 hour class of each subject daily. Total 8 classes in one day including 2-3 doubt clearing sessions.
