College should have more features like dominoes, McDonald's etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course which I opted for that is mathematics and computing branch is a really trendy branch nowadays. There are many great placements in finance sector from this branch. Curriculum teaches me to integrate mathematics in technology and use it in an effective way. Frequency of exams is once in every month.

Internships Opportunities

Due to recession internship opportunities in IIT Patna is less than previous years but still can be considered as decent. Internship opportunities are provided by great companies like DE shaw, oracle, Google, Flipkart etc. stipends of 1 lakh per month are given to our college students.

Placement Experience

Placements of my college is good . Before the recession period in tech industries my college had one of the highest median packages in cs branch in all the iits.highest package last year was around 1cr and average was around 20lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees currently for me is 1 lakh rupees per semester. It increases by 20000 every year. Complete cost for me is around 1.5lakh rupees per semester including mess and hostel fees.there is merit scholarship provided by college to students whose family income is less than 4lakh per annum

Campus Life

Campus Life is really great In my college. College campus covers around 550 acres of area. It has lush green areas which inhabitates many animals.all the things necessary for a student are available in the campus to buy.There are many courts and grounds in the campus .There are cctv in almost every place in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

I live in a hostel which is inside the college campus. Cost to live in hostel is around 15000 per semester. We have a caretaker and a warden to take care of our hostel. Rooms are good. 3 persons share each room.Registration process for hostel was done when I reached the college for admission process.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission was done through JEE advanced exam. Cutoff of my branch in my college was around 4700 rank. I secured 4641 rank in JEE advanced. Admission process was good and it went smoothly.I got alloted with hostel on my first day of college.

Best at Low rank and low Fee

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Reality of the intership

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
