Course Curriculum Overview
I enrolled in the Master of computer applications at Vignan's Lara Institute of technology and science primarily because of its comprehensive curriculum and reputation for preparing students for real-world applications in Information technology. The course structure included a balance of foundational theory and practical experiences, which I found valuable in developing a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter. One aspect of the curriculum that stood out to me was the emphasis on hands-on projects and industry collaborations. These opportunities not only reinforced classroom learning but also provided valuable networking connections and insights into current industry practices. However, there were some areas for improvement. I noticed that certain topics within the curriculum felt outdated, and I believe updating these sections would better equip students with the latest advancements in the field. Additionally, while the exams were well-paced throughout the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Iam from MCA department we don't have any internship opportunities with this college. But they can provide entry level jobs with the avagerge package of 3.5 LPA. Projects are also not up to the mark. Iam very lucky I got a good guide but most of my friends can't get any knowledge form the projects.
Placement Experience
We are eligible for the placements in the final year. Before final year TPO provides training to the students and collaborated with companies. The one thing I like about this college is placements nearly atleast 2,3 companies visit in a week. I think placements percentage is nearly 60 to 70 % it's not a high package jobs but they can able to provide entry level jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was joined through ICET entrence exam so I got some fee benefits so I need to pay only 33,000 rs only where as management students needs to pay 66,000. Now they charged my juniors 2x compare to my fee but they provide better training for placements the only thing I like about this college is placements TPO doing their work very responsibly.
Campus Life
Actually this college has better fest event because this is integrated with vignan's University so they will conduct sports meets and extracurricular events. That really helps to students focus on their goals.
Admission
I got a 4858 rank in ICET exam that is the entrance exam for MBA or MCA. I was choosed VLITS college as the 1st preference. I got a seat in OBC category. College atmosphere is ok compare other colleges but the only thing is they need to improve a better quality of faculty.
