Everything about SCMS Noida

So the course is quite good as the faculty focuses more on practical knowledge and experiencial learning. Its a multidisciplinary course so you get to choose two specialisation from Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Data Analytics, International business, one as your major and other as minor. So honestly the societies you join and the internships you do actually hone your skills and makes you industry ready but its a two way street hence you will have to work towards it to reap the benefits. They follow 2 semesters system which means you have to appear for external examinations twice a year and there are also internal exams which mostly keeps on happening the whole year these internal examinations are mostly reports, vivas, presentations and group projects

Internships were unpaid and the domains were majorly business development, recruiting, sales, inside sales, social media marketing and digital marketing. Which were quite decent but most of rhe good internships were through the network of seniors. There are ample holistic projects and case studies and are legit very helpful

Honestly placements are not as good there are arround 15-20 companies which comes on the campus and do mass recruiting. Genpact is the biggest recruiter apparently. But alot of students end up working for the companies they did their internships with and all in all the college makes you employeble enogh that you can land a good job even out side the campus placement.

Its quite expensive course as the course fees is nearly 10,00,000 which I believe is only worth it if you really step out of your comfort zone and get all you can. Tuition fees increases by 10% every year. Scholarships are totally on merit basis and you have to score really really well to reap its benifits. There is no such thing as campus employment in SCMS noida, and any ways very few institutions offer that atleast in India

Overall my campus was bright and exiting, socially there is a vibrant mix of students run groups including dance, singing, fashion,Sports, debating and MUN society which promote a vide range of intrests and connections. Anual fests are Symaroh - annual cultural fest takes place in the month of march. Symphenia- annual fest where school students are invited on campus to participate in various competitions. It generally takes place in the month of August Symwad- its a debating competition which happens in the month of December. Symunc - it is the MUN which takes place in the month of January All in all the whole year is full of events and all the students gets to participate in various verticals and aspects of the organising committee varying from hospitality to production.

There is an exam called SET (duration:1hr) which is conducted by Symbiosis International University and once you score decently i.e 85-99 percentile (moderate) you will get a call from them for GDPI WAT. GD and WAT was conducted by the students only as Symbiosis is mostly a student driven college so all in all it was a very interactive session with the seniors as we got to know about allot of things about the college. GD and WAT was quite easy to crack. PI was quite a challenge as there were questions about business studies, marketing, choosing business administration, entrepreneurial opportunities, and my interest in entrepreneurship, GK, Startup ecosystem in India, and ended with general questions like what sports I play and what aspirations do I have. The flow of GD/PI was quite good so no complaints for that although they give interview calls to 5-6K candidates to fill up around 450 seats, So I believe that just cracking the exam won't suffice as the competition does not end there.

GD topics were quite cliché like westernisation of fashion in aspects of clothing majorly, Ai and robotics, adoption of veganism etc Interview questions were out of every possible field a 17-18 year old would know about Some of the questions were What is Hindu family Business and it's characteristics? What are entrepreneurial opportunities in India right know and how government is promoting it? Steps involved in staffing? GK Questions from Politics like cheif minister of Goa, finance minister, diffence minister, Luitenent governor, Speaker of rajya sabha etc Hobbies and intrest in sports Why BBA? Future aspirations Other basic questions just to evaluate communication skills. You have to crack SET exam then appear for GD/ PI and WAT and once your total score is shortlisted you get the admission. I honestly didn't prepare much for the GD PI and WAT as I was under estimating it back then although I studied hard for SET
