Course Curriculum Overview

2

The courses are outdated, far from industry standards. The faculty and the teachers are decent and helpful but otherwise the courses and curriculums should be updated and should be made more challenging.

Placement Experience

2

The placements are next to non existent. Even the scholars of my batch were finding it hard to get placed through college placements. The college did initiate a lot of companies being invited to the college and conduct interviews. But, neither the payscale nor the companies were very lucrative

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I paid was about 3,25,000 Rs per year, divided into 4 installments (2 installments per semester) The fees was increased by 25,000 Rs after every year, from 1st to 2nd to 3rd year. The fees mainly remained the same for all fields of study, while I did not opt-in for the hostel, The college only has the facility of a girls hostel and i am unaware of the total fees for availing that facility. I am not aware of a scholarship program as such.

Campus Life

3

The campus was really small in size, but on the contrary it was just enough, with a decent canteen, a mess to eat, space around the main building to to walk, 2 basement floors of parking, with ample outside, decent sized classrooms but there was no field/ground for sports activities. Overall decent but it could be much better

Admission

I had applied to NMIMS (Narsee Monjee, Bengaluru campus) only reason i chose not to join NMIMS was due to creating more options, quality and fees wise both these colleges are the same. I got selected but decided to join Symbiosis Noida, simply due to convenience of less travel and the college being closer to my home. The exam required to qualify for this course is SET exam. The cutoff is nothing which is not achievable, its probably 65-70% if i remember correctly. Its not the most difficult college to get into.

Faculty

3

So the course structure basically works on credits, each field of study has 2-3 additional subjects, 1-2 of the additional subjects have the maximum amount of credits (weightage) it holds w.r.t to the number of classes for that course, weightage in examinations and overall weightage in semester-ly grades. The examination system is flawed, very rarely the exams are scheduled in a way that there is enough time to prepare for all the exams. The exam and course sturcture is also very wayward as the structure keeps on changing every couple semesters, no consistency and logic in making so many changes

Night Life

3

The "tapri" nearby is Rajesh, its the most famous for basic college student activites and a decent hangout spot. The college in intself has a library- nothing too special. The locality is quite safe, nothing that I was ever concerned about.

I'd rate the BBA curriculum at SRM University as 4 out of 5. it's relevent and comprehensive, covering core management subjects , practical projects, and industy- aligned modules, though real-world exposure could be stonger in some electives.

Placement offers which my college provides is very good and helpful for us and have good package also but if I don't able to achieve that then I will take instant action and give interview on other places . Like in Axis Bank, HDFC Bank or Different large Store like Tanishk, Kalyan etc. Or other finance companies. Average package is around 4,00,000 lakhs and many known companies visit us like Tata, wipro etc. My plan after getting the degree is to get settled in any Bank or any industry etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course includes subjects which are based on NEP ( National education policy). The course is well defined and also includes minor and co cocuricular subjects like Excel, Tally, health, human values. It helps in getting ready for the outside world. Although there are some areas needed for the improvement likei believe its not universitys fault but all the professor in india are like this that they will connect there laptop to projector and will display the slides and read it. That needs to be improved. Exams are very frequent like if your semester starts you will just have 1 month after that your CA1 will start then next month CA2 starts and then next month Finals. Also in CA1 you will have to give 2 papers a day , there will be no preparing holidays.
