Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 8 semester we should complete. Each semester with different and interesting subjects. This course provide physical education and swimming. This university arranges the semester up-to-date and time bounded.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 16500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In each semester, should pay 16500 rupees. So many scholarships are provided auch as e grants which is applicable those who has income less than one lakh. For the fish farmers children have more importance like reduction in course fee. Lots of opportunities are there, there is preferrence for the students who studied in our college.

Campus Life :

It is nice experience in our college. Mainly teacher's support is provided. Ragging is strictly prohibited in our college. Field works & filed trips have more importance. This course is mainly a practical based course. High facility infrastructure are provided. Well managed class rooms are there.

Hostel Facilities :

In first semester we should stay as pg (paying guest). Then we transferred to college hostel. The rent is very low, it comes upto 300 rupees in every month so for each semester 1800 rupees. In additional, should pay mess fee it comes approximately 2500-2700. The facilities are super nice for this price.

Hostel Fee : INR 2700 per year

Admission :

Admission was through neet or icar exam. I got admitted here by icar ( 7 students selected by icar exam & the remaining through neet). Total 80 students were selected. There are three stages of allotment.

Inside KUFOS: a student's perspective.

Placement Experience:

In KUFOS we have a campus placement cell which is formed with the students and faculties each year. The students become eligible while they are in their final semester. The companies visiting differs per year and also the salary package.

LIFE AT KUFOS as a Fisheries Graduate

Placement Experience:

In the last semester placement programs can be utilized by the students. So many processing companies are looking for students from Kufos, The average salary package is about 4 lakhs. About 80%of the students got placement. I am looking for further studies.

Specialised University for education in the domain of fisheries

Admission:

I applied for the ICAR AIEEA UG exam and sat for the written test. After qualifying the ICAR AIEEA I applied to the university. I was looking to pursue a bachelor's level program in the domain of fisheries and since this university was a specialised one in the respective field I opted for it. After grant of admission I was called for document verification and procedural formalities to complete the admission.

Placement Experience:

In terms of placement one can explore opportunities in government and private sector. Most of my seniors have got into the research and development in relation to the domain. The placement cell provides support however mostly it's on our. Internship opportunities are provide however one is free to get the internship done on their own.
