My honest review on KKU

I have a good passion for chemistry from the beginning of 11th class only. I had secured good marks in 12th board exms also. So i decided to choose chemistry asy honours subject. The organic chemistry which i love the most made me choose the stream. As per the schedule circulated by BERHAMPUR UNIVERSITY our exams were conducted. I was satisfied with the exam..not with the teaching I think good teachers should be allotted to our department to make the learning experience a healthy one

As per the government scholarship schemes we were given various scholarship amounts starting from 3l to recently 9k for boys and 10k for girls. The fee structure is simple For each semester we have to pay 3k rupees and for each back papaer some amount is charged from us.

For me i am a day scholar. I haven't seen the hostel facility of our college. The campus as far as i have seen is good but can be improved more. The sanitary facilities i e the bathroom and toilet facilities were disgusting.

It was good. The main criteria of admission process was the percentage scored in class 12th. The college had put foreward a notice clerifying the merit list and cutoff percentage for 1st round admission. Similarly there had 3rounds of admission. Also 3round of spot counseling had been there. For general students as expected:the cut off were higher than that of for SC and ST's. The management what i felt was not to the expected level. It could have improved.
