The college is autonomous, so u can see the change in the syllabus every year, every branch will take it's own research initiatives every year. Students and also teachers are doing the researches.

Placement Experience

The placements in this college are very good, u will get placed in different good companies like Infosys, Wipro, l&t, etc with a good package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different from one course to a different course. If u get the government seat. Then u can end up with below 10K or else it will cost you up to 30-40K.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good and there always held an alumni meet every year by the college and everyone invited in the college for the alumni meet.

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

My experience with Scaler School of Technology - A brief review

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

Remarks:

Positive : Great university experience. Placements, infrastructure, pleasant environment, full security 24×7, no ragging, no politics. Negative: little bit congested area with only 46 acres of land. Bsc faculty members average teaching.

I have applied for st Joseph's University Bangalore and yuvaraja's college Mysore. I choose yuvaraja's because during Covid 19 the admission process was complicated in Joseph where as it was very easy in yuvaraja's.
