Course Curriculum Overview

If anybody wants built their carrier in the research area and want to do Msc and phd, wants to join defence or wants to become teacher of Physics or mathematics for higher students they can choose this course. Curriculum is totally based on the new ae reasearch programmes which enhances the student to study scientifically. There must be more advanced laboratories and smart classes also. There is 2 exams per semester with a moderate dificulty level.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 4040 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is approx 4000 per semester and there is 5 tp 10 percent hikes per year. The total cost of education is around 50,000 INR. There is scholarship provisions for elgible students provided by Uttar Pradesh Government.

Campus Life

There is Annual fest held per year. Very good and well equiped library. There is lack of technology in the classrooms. There is an excellent programmes for extra curricular activities. Many students collect funds for study of very backward childrens in the remote vilages.

Admission

Eligibility for Bsc. Mathematics is a candidate must have class 12th with sience stream having mathematics also with a minimum 50% overall. The application form for admission is avilable on the college official website "https://www.st-andrews-college.org" There is reservation in admission for candidates who belong to ST/SC category with a valid category certificate. Enterance exam is held once in a year with a moderate difficulty level. There is no negative marking provisions in the enterance exam which should be improved by the college administrations in upcoming enterance examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For mathematics it has the syllabus and for physics also defense studies is the subject that I'm here . I'm in 1st year so there is some baiscs so i can't say that it has a lide changing chapters but i have heard that in 2nd year it is going to be very interesting. And I'm very excited!!. All three subjects are very interesting but I'm also seeing mathematics as an interesting subject . If you want to be a scholar in the university you have to choose your favorite subject and just stick to it, it'll be very helpful. Yes for skill development class if students want tp learn that skill for real please teach them carefully, otherwise it's just waste of money time and effort. Timings are good there are back to back exams in which you'll be preparing for exam for whole year not a single month to waste which is good from my perspective. Difficulty level is moderate, if you solve pyqs and similar questions you will score good in exams . You will require good amount of practice and speed for 3 hour exam .

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...
