VIT-AP Honest Review

The curriculum here is decent. The only proble is that sometimes the classes are from morning 9AM to evening 7:30PM, which is quite hectic as after that we don't have much time to chill or relax. The curriculum does prepare you for real life problems but just the time table thing can be improved

I'm not quite aware of internships that much, as I have different plans and am not going to accept internships from college, but in general in college, the internship opportunities are flattering, with stipend as high as 50k.

The placements in college are very good. It has an average placement of 6LPA which is an achievement for private colleges. Some great MNCs like google, amazon visit college during placement season. The highest placement that has been done from this year is 35 LPA. Almost everyone gets placed in our college.

The fee structure is based on which category you join college in, hhere are 5 categories with fee varying from 2 LPA to 5.5 LPA and this all is just tuition fee. The hostel fee is seperate. There are no job roles in campus. For me the estimate fee for 4 years of BTech including hostel fee is 13L approx.

The college life is pretty good over here, there are two fests that are conducted in an year. One is VITOPIA which is a cultural fest, the other is VTAPP, which is a technical fest. VITOPIA is held in January and VTAPP in december. Inside each classroom there are projectors that are used to teach us. The sports opportunities are very good in campus, there are all type of sports, even sports like squash are present which is a great thing, as it is not that recognised.

I live in 15 bedded non-ac dorm. Although this is not the best of their room, but still, its good. Even in 15 bedded dorm, they gave evryone their seperate cupboard, bed, chair, and table. The meal quality is top notch. There are 3 kinds of mess, Special, veg and non-veg. I've opted for special mess, in which i get fruit juice every morning and sweets every afternoon. The hostels are quite affordable too. A bit overpriced, but it's good.

Admission process was quite easy, we just had to write an exam that was VITEEE. Based upon the ranks obtained by the student, the branches and college were suggested in the councelling session. In thw counselling round, there was no screening or any activities, it was solely based upon marks obtained.
