Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The main thing that made me to join was the specialisation Aviation and logistics. The exams are though but if u study u can pass easily . The teachers are good . I can say how well it prepares for the real world situation since I'm not graduated.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hostel fees are expensive . First year -85000 Second Year -82000 Third year 88000 Course fees are relatively on the affordable side 62500 The plus point is that we get a Coursera .(Inc in fees ) It helps to get various certificates that would be helpful in real life situation/ employment .

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is not that great Since there are few programs and some are boring Sports is there and tournament are held on regular basis There are many clubs which u can enter such as nss redcross etc Facilities and classroom are very nice and they provide good facilities .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Meal is on the average side . But best in manglore . The food is clean and good . Registration process for hostel is easy. A balanced diet is given with non veg for 3 days and 2 days veg. There is breakfast which is fully veg . And snacks are provided with coffee in afternoon .

Admission

The process relatively easy . This was a reputated college so we called the colleges asked about the admission process . Seniors also recommended this college Hostel was relatively good and clean . The should give clear cut details about which yenepoya college to go first for admission .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
