Overall review of OIST Bhopal.

The course was well designed by university(rgpv bhopal) and fairly implemented by college . They just include stream subjects as well as cultural and sports activities in curriculum. But they just failed to guide the student to prepare them for future challenges. They should include more interns and placement drives in their curriculum. Exams were conducted at the end of every semester and exams were fair enough . exam was conducted by university with good level of paper.

The campus placement was below then average . they just only invite IT companies to recruit students. Few IT companies like TCS, CTS , HCL ,TECH MAHINDRA ,etc visited college for campus placements. They need to improve placemnets drives for non IT students . Only 30-35 percent got placed during academic year. I started preparing for government exam after course completion.

The tution fees was ?27,500 per semester. But in addition of that they charges bus fees which was most irritating because we had to pay bus fees whether we have to go by bus or not .I think that unfair with students amd they just making money by unfair means. They don't offer any scholarships to the meritorious students.campus placements was poor for mechanic , civil and electrical branches . they just invited only few IT companies to recruit IT students.

The college always used to conduct cultural festival called umang . which was held in the month of september every year. Library facility was good enough . library had the books related to course and they have been alloted to students as well . The facility in classroom was just poor had no technological advancements . inter college sports competition held every year in which students can take part also they conducted cultural activities .ther were no such social group ,club run by students

Admision was on the basis of state level entrance exam called MPPET followed by counselling . the application started in the month of feb and exam was held in april. Application fees was ?500. Entrance exam was of moderate level conducted offline mode .
