- The campus is very small in area there is only a basketball ground and the campus building
- To take a leave from hostel you have to go to the swo take signature from swo and signature of warden and also need signature of class advisor it is a very long process
- The teachers behave really arrogantly and are very egotistical.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in genetic engineering so to attempt for that course I have to have degree in bsc microbiology with biotechnology. The curriculum prepares you very well for the real world as they focus really well on practical classes and theory classes also . The curriculum could be improved by adding few internship experiences. The exams are of moderate difficulty if you prepare for them properly you can score really well but marking is really strict.
Fees and Financial Aid
First semester we have to pay 60000 but rest of the 5 semesters only 45000 but for next year students there is a increase in fees of about 40%. Student scholarships are available if u have marks above 90% you will get 25% off your one semester fees.
Campus Life
We have functions like ethnic day, Christmas celebration, onam celebration, and annual day. Annual day usually conducted in second semester . The range of availability of books in library is very less. All classrooms are equipped with proper working digital smartboards and proper working air conditioning. Sports day is conducted in campus and hostel. There are many student run groups like literary club, youth red cross.
Hostel Facilities
Air conditioner is available in rooms. A bed and a cupboard is provided to each of the students.the meal quality is not that good but menu is very well prepared. The registration process is easy you can apply with the admission itself.
Admission
To apply for the course we need minimum 70% mark in all science subjects. We can apply for the course through agents and through college also. Just seats were confirmed for 26000 they returned the 25000. Entrance exams were not conducted. They should clarify which campus we are being placed into instead of showing only medical college . After the admission only they specify the campus.
