Awesome place to study

The staff was pretty knowledgeable. Learned a lot from them. Helpful staff too. Staff is awesome and also very knowledgeable, some are friendly, some are scary at times but that, to some extent.

Learned our college did have an internship and we learned a lot. For example, during our Oral Surgery posting, we were allowed in the Operation theatre and drill the bone for the placement of screws in a mandibular fracture case, the staff gave the demo for alveoloplasty and also gave cases later and many more techniques of extraction.

Since Maratha Mandal's N G H Institute of dental sciences and research center is a private dental college we do not have placements as such. It's just that we have to complete the course of 5 years that is four years course and 1-year internship. After which we have to start our own practice or pursue post graduation.

We had freshers' party, cultural day, annual day, sports day, independence day, republic day, convocation day, CDE programs, implant courses.

It was fine, but you need to keep proof of everything the management says. Because they may deny later. Earlier our course was supposed to be for five years so they divided the fee into 1.9 lakhs per year. Then the rule changed and it was a course for four years and the one-year internship. We assumed we since the rule changed we wouldn't have to pay for the fifth year that is internship but eventually, we had to.

Yes, earlier there were triple sharing, double sharing, and single rooms. Now its probably just double sharing and single rooms. For triple sharing, we paid 9000 per head/annually as we reached final year or internship we had to pay 61000 which included food and accommodation.

We are having alumni meet the end of 2017 probably.

Staff is awesome and also very knowledgeable, some are friendly, some are scary at times but that is needed to some extent. They, help you when it comes to completing your quota. They all help you out during exams which is like really I as most of the students are too tensed up during the final exams. They even teach a lot practically. I learned a lot, especially during the internship.
