Remarks

Overall college satisfactory for textile students But I Believe college doesn't matters a lot the thing which truly matters is the will inside your heart of doing something very different as Our Indian education system prepare us for a good worker not for an Innovator so everything is up to you.

Entrance Preview

At the time of counseling, I did lot of research and concluded it by sorting out the names of few govt and aided institute. Nitra Technical Campus was in my list. Fortunately, I got Nitra Technical Campus in my first round counseling. I decided to take admission as I checked about it on the web as well as on some government portals. Actually, Nitra Technical Campus is an academic wing of NITRA(NORTHERN INDIA TEXTILE RESEARCH ASSOCIATION) one of four textile research association set up by central govt (Ministry of Textiles) in 1974. So it has linked with the Central government.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Earlier college provides three courses of B.tech i.e. 1- TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY (TT) 2- TEXTILE CHEMISTRY (TC) 3- COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (CSE) But now Textile Chemistry is not in the list due to less strength and some other reasons. so now their is TT AND CSE available from the academic year 2018 onwards

Internships Opportunities

As the college is academic wing of NITRA (also a center of excellence by Central government) It consist of amazing number of textiles machinery. Their is also a pilot plant for textile students so that they can experience the environment of industry in their college. So for textile student Internship is not a big deal. Problem arises for CSE student as their is no such a facility for CSE student.

College Events

1

These is is something which affect the reputation of college as officially college conduct only two events in an academic year. First one is FRESHERS Party (with contribution of 2nd year students) and Sport's fest with the help of 3rd year students. First year and fourth year don't have any active roles in events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If we compare the fees of college with other colleges of delhi/ncr its appreciable as college as It is 51000 for First semester (It consist of 2000 security fees + 7500 AKTU exam fees) and 40000 for second semester and consecutively 49000 and 40000 for odd and even semesters as per college revised fees structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student can avail scholarship as per UP government scholarship rules and regulation by filling the form online . and their is an extra scholarship for textile students from Textile association of India of 24000/- on the basis of academic performance(only for first year).

Campus Life

4.5

Due to the two branches, a crowd in campus is less than expected. Sometimes it gives the feeling of the school. Girls are comparatively less in number with respect to the number of boys. The college organizes sport fest with the contribution of students. College disappoints when it comes for extracurricular.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel infrastructure is more than good as its newly constructed with unlimited wifi for hosteler and Jiofi of 34 MB for any visitor. There is common room for entertainment purpose which consists of Table Tennis playing facility and a TV with DTH. A mess is disgusting as similar too other hostels and sometimes worse than expected.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are too good and friendly unlike other colleges their is not a large gap between senior and juniors.

Admission

I got Nitra Technical Campus in my first round counselling from counselling portal of UPSEEE for AKTU (APJ ABDUL KALAM UNIVERSITY). Counselling and the college allotment is totally based on rank of UPSEEE with respect to all rules of reservation as per UP GOVERNMENT reservation policy.

Faculty

4

The faculty is satisfactory. As we all know that India is lacking the quality of education so the quality of professors is also not up to the mark. But currently the faculty of Engineering Mathematics and some of the faculty of Textiles is amazing but you may compromise with some of the faculties of CSE but few gems are also present there. It all depends upon a student.

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.
