Course Curriculum Overview
The cirriculum at vignan university is relevant and focuses on real-world applications. It focuses on practical projects, industry trips and guide us the problem solving and other skills. The feedback mechanisms should be provided to identify the areas for improvement. The frequency and difficulty of exams are balanced to effectively assess students
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Both IT and core-side companies like tcs,infosys, amazon,laila, reddy's laboratories conducted campus drive and often make offers. The highest package is 12lpa from amazon and average package is 5lpa The percentage of students getting placed varies anually with an average of 40%. After getting degree, my plan is to acquire knowledge in the data side and get employment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition Fee per year for bioinformatics is 180000 along with some compulsory charges. Hostel fee per year is 120000 for ac rooms and 92000 for non ac rooms. Tuition fee increase policy are discussed prior to joining. Scholarships are given based on the rank scored in v-sat or eamcet or 12+ marks
Campus Life
Vignan Mahotsav(national fest in Feb), technical fest like srujanankura(april) and department fests are held. Wide range of books with updated editions are available in the library along with the journals which are easily accesseble. Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities and technology Various sports are conducted based on the interests of students. Students run social groups such as SACC and clubs like fashion club, public relations etc for personal development and community involvement
Hostel Facilities
Both ac and non ac hostel rooms are included. Hot water, free wifi, wardrobes are provided. Meal quality varies with diverse menu. Registration involves necessary documents and affordability depends on room type.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for Vignan university is 12+ passed outs with minimum 50%. The application form along with fee details is provided offline and online and application dates are anounced online in vignan university's official website(vignan.ac.in). The entrance test such as V-sat are conducted every year with moderate to difficult level based on the chosen domain. I think there's lack of communication while filling the details in application form. There could be a better room for communication and clarity.
