Course Curriculum Overview

The bachelor of commerce offers various sectors and it a common course for commerce stream students,that made me to choose this course. This bachelor of commerce course prepares me to accounting aspects. The area for improvement in the course is to develop accounting aspects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There will be many companies available will our college for internships. I placed in the auditor office for internships and I played a role of GST filling The stipend I earned was about 2000.it was a very informative experience .

Placement Experience

This college provides campus placements to all the students.the eligibility for attending campus placements is from 5 th semester. There will be a wide range of companies visit and provide job opportunities. The average package will be 25000 per month. There will be a 75%students selected through campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

This bachelor of commerce course is 3 year course.the complete cost of this course is 150000. Each year it costs about 50000. I didn't avail tution They had all government related scholarship. I received caste based scholarship and it amounted to 2500 per year. This college provides campus interview to all.

Campus Life

They conduct functional festival during the year.they organise charisma every year which is to be a cultural event. The library in the college campus provide wife range of books The facilities and technology within the class room is great enough.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is commerce stream,but anyone can apply B.com course if they wish. We can find application form from the college campus.the fee for application form is 500. There will be Six semester in the 3 years..it is a 3 year course. There will be 2 semester in a year.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

Best women's college in the heart of Chennai

Placement Experience:

Placements were decent enough. McKinsey, TCS, HCL were one of the top companies. We also had Justdial and few banks that came for recruitment. Average package was around 2.5 lpa. Highest package was by McKinsey - 3 lpa My plans were to pursue MBA, so I didn't apply for placements. McKinsey offered business presentation specialist roles. Just Dial and banks offered customer support roles. 7/10 were placed.
