Course Curriculum Overview
Nitte Usha institute of nursing sciences is an authorised institution which provide nursing education and their speciality is having their own hospital facility which provide the students with proper clinical exposure.This also provide us with other extra curricular activities including OSCE and other training which are highly applicable for future scope. They also have lab facilities,isdc etc... which make the students more capable for persuing their degree more efficiently. Even though improvements are required in college atmosphere and surroundings
Internships Opportunities
Our college offer intership program within our hospital at gajra and derlakkatte.There is not other option for doing internship.After the internship program we'll be qualified and eligible for doing and mastering all the nursing care activities in all departments of health care .
Fees and Financial Aid
There will be no increase in tution fee till the course completion. Tution fees is 135000 per yr and hostel fees is 77000 per yr other extra charges for uniform,exam fees ,etc.. may included during that time.Scholaeships are available for NRI students and localite students. At the last year we are having internship but there will be no stipent
Campus Life
There will a huge program each year called the cultural week ,that is one week of completion program and competition will be held.in both sports and others .there is a wide range of books are available inthe Libra for referring in any type of nursing other than nursing there are lot more books for other allied sciences.
Hostel Facilities
One cupboard,one bed,one chair one table are provided for one student and there are 3 of us in one room there is 2fans .the room is big and comfortable.we are having common bathroom but it is fine The registration process was easy and the payment was made separately for hostel.The quality of the menu was good at first but it became worse later even though adjusting through pakashala. If we are vacating the hostel and moving to a pg the nearest place is derlakkatte.
Admission
The eligibility for the course was PUC score above 90%.Application form was filled online from their official site and there was small online payment for filling the form application I did applied on the month of July.We are having semester system therefore every 6 months we have University exam and the difficulty range was according to the subject.
