Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was splendid. It's not civil engineering and neither is its architecture. It's a blend of both. A huge emphasis was given on the case studies and industrial training for the students so as to nurture them according to the industry. Electives like high rise structures, prestressed concrete etc. were taught to us.

Internships Opportunities

Nopes, the college didn't provide an internship. We had to manage it on our own, but yes the college did give us recommendations. My intern was with the DMRC (Delhi metro rail corporation) & DIMTS (Delhi integrated multi-modal transit systems). The two internships helped me gather knowledge about various aspects related to the construction field.

Placement Experience

There's a specific team under the 'Training and placement officer' that was indulged in bringing good and decent companies for the students. Major companies visiting the campus were adobe systems, Hindustan zinc limited, acc cement, jk cement, wonder cement, TCS, analyst quotient (AQ), Honda, NBC and more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There were two types of fee structure. The GAS seats (government aided seats) 35k per year SFS seats (self-financed seats) 60k per year. There were many scholarships available also for different categories of students. My college boasts of rich alumni, and they also gave scholarships on need cum merit basis.

Faculty

Faculties are simply amazing and well learned. They follow the old classical method of teaching on the blackboard. Being a government institution, the faculties here are at least holding a masters degree (assistant professors) from reputed colleges.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

Placement Experience:

about 90 percent people get placed and the rest goes for masters or become enterprenuers. Top companies that visit campus are Samsung ,BNY,Flipkart etc.Highest package goes upto 1.3 cr with average of 13lpa and median of 12lpa.

SKIT- The overall package

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible after 4th semester for placements. There are many companies that have visited like Vipro, IBM, TCS and many more among the 150 companies that visit the campus. THe highest offer made was to a senio of mine of about 43 lpa and the average package is of about 5-6 LPA. The lowest package offered was of about 3 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placements and if for any reason i do not get placed, I would try for CDS that is the armed forces of India

MBM university reality

Mbm university reality

The other colleges I applied for skit and I got computer science there but it is next round I got MBM at I choose MBM because of the low fees and the eliminating eliminary network of MBM is very very strong also I applied for NIT but I am not eligible for NIT the admission process of my colleges simple you have to apply in the MBM through reef counselling and when you get selected you have to the submit your document share....Read More

THE MBM UNIVERSITY

I got a College is jossa which is Mizoram University, I was getting ece branch in that college. I chose MBM because 1. The college is much closer to me. 2. You should choose MBM or not ?

I also applied for jecrc foundation in jaipur , and i got CS+Ai there , but then in next round i got mbm electrical . I choose this college over jecrc because that was a private college and mbm is government . And also the fees in jecrc is twice as compare to mbm . And i want to have a option of gogvernment field also so electrical will be much better option . I wanted to go to NIT but i didn't get that much good score in jee ,so i was left with this state college option only . The admission proccees is quite simple , you have to apply to reep counselling , and then you have to do reporting in this college with required documents as mentioned on reep site . 91 percentile is required in jee to get electrical branch in mbm for a general ews student...Read More
