Honest review of student about Ethiraj College for Women

I have chosen this course because it is the rare course combined with mathematics and computer applications where we can learn both maths and computer and it is available only in few college. This college gives best coding skills using practical classes that helps us to enter into IT companies to handle real-life situations.

Basically, the fees structure is Rs.70,000 per year. The course duration is 3 years, so, we have to pay Rs.2,10,000 to complete the 3-year course. This college provides SC, ST scholarship, gives scholarship for students studied in government school, gives scholarship for the students with low family income etc. This college provides better better placements where they start the training for placements at the beginning of the 3rd year and gives 80% placement at the end of the year.

This college have many events like shrishti which held for 2 days where other college students will be coming to see the event. The other big event is aarambh and maithri which will be held for 3 days. For aarambh and maithri other college students are not allowed. There will variety of books in library where we can borrow books and use it for about 7 days and extension will also be allowed. We have various sports event like march past, athletics, tennis, batminton etc where every department students participate and win prices. We have various clubs like Rotaract, RRC, NCC, NSS etc. Students run many social groups with active participation.

I joined in college in the year 2021. They asked the eligibility of 70% marks in 12th standard and the application to enter the college is completely online. Once the application is selected they call us for document verification. The application fees is Rs.500. It takes up 5 to 7 days to verify the application. If you join in college, there will be two continuous assessment test before the semester exam. Each assessment test have two units for portions. It will be not as tough as we write exams in school and my suggestion for the improvement in the admission process is the process should be in offline too.
