Likes

there are many clubs,fully furnished classrooms
fully digital classrooms,there is a big library
faculties are well and good,and very highly trained

Dislikes

food facilities are poor,hospital is not nearby
clubs are not maintained properly,lack of internet
and there are no more things which is to be disliked

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because "my dream is design my future house with my own idea".and i think this the easy and only way to fulfill my dream.Thats why i choose this course.If want say about the Faculty members they are very good and punctual in their responsibilities.So i have no more words to talk abot HIM/HER.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In this institute the course fees is 30000/-RS per anum and hostel fees is also 30000/-RS per anum.After all this the state govt give a scholarship of 20000/-RS per anum.The scheme name is "POST METRIC".So these are all about Fees structure and Scholarship,now come to discuss about Campus jobs-Our college organiges interviews by several companies and indstries like 'TATA POWER','ADANI GROUP','EWAC Alloys Ltd.','Airtel','MGH Infrastructure' etc.The packages are also verry good. The Campus job packages starts from 300000/-RS to 1200000/-RS per anum.

there are many festivals thare are held in our college premises.and there are many clubs that are present in our college which provide many more cjhances to students to participate in various extra curricular activities

Admission

The Admission process is probably good.Before the admission you have to get some eligibilities like you must have attend the JEE mains entrance exam, then you have to apply for the engineering colleges in Ojee Counciling Process.Then as pre your choice filling you got alloted in the respective college as per your "all india jee main rank,your selected branch,and scheme".

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I applied for this college and I got confirmation for admission from this college . I choose this college over other colleges because as per my jee ranks this college was best . No I didn't get any rejection cause my 1st choice was this college. Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure. The admission process is through the jeemain exams and ojee exam after clearing these entrance exam and eligible for the cutoff rank u should go for online counseling which is held for approx one month and then if u get ur seat in online counseling in this college then should go for offline verification and the final process....Read More

I am applied in parla maharaja engineering college ,govt. engineering college, Kalahandi,govt. engineering college bhawanipatna ,igit Sarang and many private colleges. In first option I choose this college and get sit in this college .I choose this college because this college in near to my home .As compared to other colleges this college fees structure is nearly same also this is govt.
