What Students Say
Likes
- The students are very friendly and the classes are held regularly.
- The faculty has some goof teachers like, who also get along with the students very well.
- They do host some outdoor sports meet occasionally.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is expensive than usual and is not tidy at all.
- The available drinking water is not good, the washroom is dirty.
- And the air conditioner does not work well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course itself is not sufficient so the students are made to do some extra courses apart from the main course and the faculty is neither too good nor too bad some of them have more experience while some are new and thus in a learning process.
Internships Opportunities
So far I'm in the second semester and the companies are coming ahead and offering internships with minimum stipends to interested students during vacation times, although they look a little fishy, so I didn't go for it right now, I'll talk to my friends who have participated in it and ask them about there experience and only then I can decide what to do.
Placement Experience
Campus placements start the 5th semester onwards, although the package is very low given the current status of courses of BBA and BCom Hons in the country with not much scope in the market, also the amount of students getting placements is very low with some decent companies although my plans after getting a degree from here is to pursue MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee hike lies at around 7-8% per annum, and the fees per semester lies at around 1,15,000 and they generally ask you to pay the entire fee at once, and there are regular events held where top performers are provided scholarship, and the internship are provided in partnership with IIMs IITs etc
Campus Life
When it comes to clubs for extra curricular activities there are not much option, hardly 1 or 2 options are available, also the amount of books available in the library is very limited, the computers are very dated/old and the campus is almost non existent, its just way too small and the area in which the college is situated is very poor.
Admission
The Eligibility of the course is 50% in 12th from any stream, the admission process was smooth. In order to get into Delhi School Of Professional Studies and research you have to give the IPU CET exam specifically held for colleges under IPU University, and as usual SC ST And OBC will have a lower cut off and reserved seats, and the exams are pretty easy just the basics from class 12.
