Remarks

Overall I would rate the college 8/10 but it has a drawback that is it didn't have a playground but has a basketball court volleyball court and shuttle court

Entrance Preview

Actually I belong to Karnataka and I had applied for counseling in Karnataka but I did not get MBBS admission, therefore, I cancelled the counseling and came to Chennai where I got a message about this college and I first went to Meenakshi Academy of higher education and research which is in kk Nagar from there I got admitted to MADC

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course offers a good chance to earn money bit with efforts you can survive in this field or it would be a not so good and in research there are many chances of doing a research on a thing as the technology is developing day by day Moreover we have a great chance of doing a research in this field

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides the stipend and I actually don't know about the stipend money and about the companies which have visited our college.

Placement Experience

4.5

Almost everyone got placed in a good college. More than 100 companies visited I think so because when I joined there was a board put up with many companies but it would count up to 100 and all of them were placed in a good job and some people wanted to do their MDS.

College Events

5

Midas sangamam moksha etc and our cultural festival is also there which is held in March. Midas is conducted by international dental association which was held in Ramachandra University in Chennai where all the dental college meets all over from Chennai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It varies from ranking to ranking it's from 3 to 8 lakhs depending on the neet marks and neet ranking. Now the management quota 's fees are reduced to 5-8 lakhs before it was 8 lakhs. As mentioned above the fees would be feasible our expressive depending on your NEET marks.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about the scholarship but loan facilities are available as there is an bank withing the college campus

Campus Life

4

Anti ragging community is present within the college which is maintained by a staff and students asks watch for it so no fear of ragging and the are more girls compared to boys. The campus life is awesome and once of you enter the college cultural Fest you would not like to go out of the college

Hostel Facilities

4

Mess food -7/10 Hostel-8/10 The hostels are available for sharing or if you want a single room you would get it with or without the air conditioner. There would be no requirement of pg's as hostel rooms are adequate as there are 4 Wings. The mess food is okay okay and manageable

Alumni/Alumna

Senior help us to make us understand what each department actually does and they guide us in clinics

Exam Structure

They conduct tests every week and the minimum pass percentage is 50%. In the first years, basics subjects are ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY AND BIOCHEMISTRY, DENTAL ANATOMY. here Anatomy and dental anatomy is a single paper, biochemistry and physiology is combined the college conducts tests every week and minimum there would be apart 4 to 5 tests in a week

Admission

I got a message from the university and I took admission in this college as I told I went to MAHER and then I filled the admission form there and got admitted to Meenakshi ammal dental college MAHER is the main university which gives admissions to all the courses

Faculty

5

All professors are highly qualified with MBBS or MDS .for dentally related subjects the professors are completed their MDS and for anatomy physiology, the professors have completed their MBBS or MD overall the teaching is good and their level of teaching is understandable the staffs make sure that they teach up to their mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

.I honestly am not very interested in the course and still trying to adapt to it .The course would either lead you to the path of MDS in several departments and thereafter a Phd or simply a BDS degree would also make you a dentist. . The course needs more simplification and easy to understand books, easy to understand lectures and easy to follow practical work to get a knack of it. . Internal assessments are held almost once in every 2.5 to 3 months and a year end university examination that includes theory and practical exam that requires students to pass in order to be promoted to the next year. . Anatomy, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Pharmacology are the hardest. Physiology, Microbiology and Oral pathology and Histology are the easiest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum in the first year is quite good and gives a strong base . Subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are detailed and help us understand the basics needed for later years . Curriculum helps us to improve skills through labs and dissection . Exams happens regularly- we have internal assessments every months , class tests, slip tests, practicals and university exam. The frequency is fine , but the difficulty depends on the preparation . The one year compulsory internship with stipend is also very helpful in moulding us as a great dentist . Overall , the curriculum does a great job in laying down the foundation . Because of the high patient flow our hand skills will also become improve. So it helps in professional growth .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month
